Students seeking admission into the B Pharma course in the University of Delhi must fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criteria. Delhi University B Pharma Admission is done through entrance test only, so students should be waiting for any cutoff, instead must ensure they register for the entrance test.
An aspirant should meet the following eligibility criteria for Delhi University B Pharma Admission entrance test –
The General category candidates should have passed higher secondary exam from Central Board of Secondary Education or any education board equivalent thereto with minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
The SC / ST category candidates should have passed higher secondary exam from Central Board of Secondary Education or any education board equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate in three science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
Candidates awarded with grades in their intermediate (HSC) exam shall be eligible for entrance test and admission to B Pharma. For their eligibility, however, the candidates will have to submit conversion certificate of numerical marks issued by their respective educational boards.
Candidates that have passed 10+2 examination through Open School are also eligible to seek Delhi University B Pharma Admission and sit for the entrance exam.
Note: There is an option for D Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) students to pursue direct admission in select colleges in the second year Bachelor of Pharmacy. For such Lateral Entry, the candidate should have in aggregate 50 percent marks in the First and Second year of D Pharma along with a pass percentage in higher secondary or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics.
Delhi University B Pharma Admission entrance test
Entrance test for Delhi University B Pharma Admission is based on the academic syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics of class 11th and 12th. The exam is conducted to test the general aptitude of the student. The aspirants can check the official syllabus for B Pharma entrance test on the official website of the university when the notification will be released by the university.
After successfully qualifying the entrance test for Delhi University B Pharma Admission, the candidates are then shortlisted for the counselling. At the time of counselling, the qualified candidates are required to bring their documents and certificates for verification. The educational documents include:
· Attested copy of Plus 2 (10+2) Mark Sheet
· Attested migration certificate provided by the school last attended
· Attested Character Certificate issued by the principal of the school last attended
· Attested copy of the matriculation mark sheet as proof of date of birth
· Recent passport sized photographs
· Attested certificate of category (if applying for a reserved category).
